Memorial Day 2018

I made Joe ride bikes to the Memorial Day Service at the local cemetery and we took the dogs.  I told the neighbors about it and they came too!  After, we went to the city sponsored cook out at the local park.

I did this for the Midwest Patriotic Exchange in the Midwest Cross Stitcher's page on Facebook (which I call FaceSpace in real life - a mix between MySpace anfd Facebook).

It makes for great airplane stitching.  I even stitched on it while I waited for my bag at the San Jose airport.

I copied Nicole's Needlework on this one!

Arkansas Needleminder

I was missing home so I ordered a vintage Arkansas hat pin off of Etsy for $3.  Joe cut the pin off with his Dremel (thank God for husbands) and I followed the Primitive Stitcher's Tutorial to make the needle minder.  I love it, can't wait to collect up more enamel pins!

This project was the first project that I couldn't stop stitching or couldn't wait to get back to every time I was away from it.

I started this on a plane on the way to California for work.  A 6x8 Q snap is the perfect size for a plane.

I stitched in the hotel when I was done with work at night.

I stitched it on the plane on the way home!
