Summer is for evening walks

Joe was out of town this weekend for work.  Maddie is going a little crazy staying inside - but it's just too hot for her foot tall self to be walking along the ground.  I wait until 8 and then we go out.  I took my camera - I didn't edit the photos, just got some summer shots from the neighborhood.

We went for a Saturday morning walk with the dogs.  Ellie made it one round around the block and quit trying so we took her home and carried on with Maddie.

It's too hot for this one to make it all the way home!
