I made a Liberty of London modern hexies project bag. I ordered the Liberty fabric as a set of 38 charm squares off of Etsy. I also used a scrap of Liberty that I had for the lining. I had to line the hexie fabric with featherweight fusible so that the seam from folding the fabric over didn't show through the whisper thin fabric!
I used 1 inch hexagon paper-piece pieces and I glued them down with Aleene's Fabric Fusion to Moda Cross-Weave in the color black. I quilted the bag with 40wt off-white Aurifil thread and used a 30 wt Aurifil for the top stitching. The zipper is Coates from Joann and the vinyl is 12 weight from Wal-Mart.
